About the product
Banner Engineering S126E, part of the S12 series, is a photo-electric sensor designed with a through-beam system or opposed mode. This sensor functions as an emitter alone and is constructed with a thermoplastic housing, polycarbonate (PC) lens, and a polyurethane (PUR) end cap. It features a pre-wired connection with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The S126E operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. It is designed with an IP67 NEMA 6P degree of protection, ensuring its durability in various environmental conditions. The sensor has an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance of up to 15m. It emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm and has a response time of 3ms (ON) and 1.5ms (OFF). The thread size for installation is M12.
