Banner Engineering QS18VN6LD W/30 is a Class 1 laser photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +50 °C. This sensor is equipped with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning, and it comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for flexible connectivity. Part of the QS18LD series, it boasts an IP67 NEMA 6 degree of protection, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens, and it can detect objects up to a distance of 300mm. The QS18VN6LD W/30 emits visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm and offers both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It features a single digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and responds in as fast as 0.7ms / 0.0007 s.
