Banner Engineering MIAD9R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring a receiver alone configuration. It employs a through-beam system with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. This sensor is mounted using an M18 threaded mount and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for flexible installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is part of the MIAD9 NAMUR series. The MIAD9R W/30 offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It requires a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with a nominal 12Vdc, and features a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. The sensing distance is up to 6m, utilizing infrared (IR) light for detection and offering both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes. It includes 1 x digital output (NAMUR) and boasts a rapid response time of 2ms / 0.002 s.
