Banner Engineering VS1RP5C10 is a photo-electric sensor designed with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. It offers a degree of protection rated at IP54 and NEMA 3, suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +55°C. This sensor operates in a Dark-ON NC (Normally Closed) mode and features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The rectangular-shaped sensor operates at a wavelength of 865 nm, emitting infrared (IR) light, and is designed for a convergent mode with a sensing distance of 10mm. It requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal. This sensor is part of the VS1 series.
