About the product

Banner Engineering SM312CVBQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The ambient air temperature range for operation is between -20 and +70°C. It offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), with a sensing distance of 16mm. It emits visible blue light and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
