S18UBAQPMA Description
Banner Engineering S18UBAQPMA is an ultrasonic distance sensor from the S18U straight series, featuring a time-of-flight system with TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. The S18UBAQPMA offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its design is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) for connectivity. The sensing distance of this sensor ranges from 30 to 300mm, with a 300kHz transmission frequency. It also features protection functions against short-circuit and has an M18 thread size for installation.
