Banner Engineering QS18EP6D W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the QS18 Expert series, designed with a diffuse mode TEACH mode for versatile applications. It features an M18 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and is housed in a durable thermoplastic with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring its operation in challenging environments with a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6. It supports a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The QS18EP6D W/30 offers a sensing distance of up to 800mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light, with the capability to operate in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes. It provides quick response times of 0.6ms / 0.0006 s and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) for efficient signal processing.
