Banner Engineering M12PRQ5 is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and is housed in nickel-plated brass with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. This sensor is shaped in an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel design and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C. The M12PRQ5 offers a sensing distance of 5m and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.625ms / 0.000625 s.
