Turck BCF5-S18-AP4X-0.2-RS4T is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-S18 series, designed for noise-immune embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. The M18 partially threaded barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options, while the IP67 degree of protection ensures operation in demanding environments. With a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and an ambient air temperature operational range of -25°C to +70°C, this sensor is suitable for a variety of applications. It offers a sensing distance of 5mm and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity.
