Turck BCF5-S18-RN4X-0.2-RS4T is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-S18 series, designed for noise-immune embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. The sensor features a housing and sensing face made of PA12-GF30, a glass fiber reinforced Polyamide, ensuring durability. It comes pre-wired with a 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy installation. The M18 partially threaded barrel shape allows for versatile mounting options, and it offers a protection degree of IP65, making it suitable for use in various environmental conditions ranging from -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides one digital output (10-65Vdc; NPN) with a sensing distance of 5mm and includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. It operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode and features an M18 thread size for secure fitting.
