BCF5-S18-AP4X/S90 Turck Capacitive Sensors

Turck BCF5-S18-AP4X/S90 is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch belonging to the BC...-S18 series. This sensor features a noise-immune embeddable design with a supply voltage range of 10-65Vdc, including nominal values of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, and 48Vdc. It is constructed with a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) housing and sensing face, along with a PUR (Polyurethane) cable jacket for enhanced durability. The sensor is connected via a pre-wired 2m / 6.5ft cut/abrasion-resistant PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has an M18 partially threaded barrel shape and offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. The maximum switching frequency is 100Hz, and it can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor includes 1 x digital output (10-65Vdc; PNP; 200mA max.), with a no-load current consumption of 15mA and a sensing distance of 5mm. It features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 200mA / 0.2 A. The operating mode is NO (Normally Open), and it has an M18 thread size.
