Turck BC5-Q08-AN6X2-V1131/S250 is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-Q08 series, designed with a Qpak housing for top-sensing and embeddable applications. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The sensor features a die-cast Zinc alloy housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin M8 Picofast male metal connector for connectivity. The sensor has an 8mm thick rectangular body and offers an IP67 degree of protection against ingress. It supports a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The sensor provides one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 5mm, and it includes protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and the operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
