Turck BC5-M18-RZ3X-0.2-SB3T is a capacitive proximity sensor/switch that falls under the BC...-M18 series. This sensor is designed to be embeddable and operates with a supply voltage range of 20-250Vac (including nominal voltages of 24Vac, 200Vac, 220Vac, 240Vac) and 10-300Vdc (including nominal voltages of 12Vdc, 24Vdc, 48Vdc, 120Vdc, 200Vdc, 250Vdc). It features a chrome-plated brass housing and a sensing face made of PBT-GF30-V0, a glass fiber reinforced Polybutylene Terephthalate. The connection is facilitated by a pre-wired 20cm / 8" pigtail cable that terminates with a 3-pin 1/2"-20 UNF Microfast male connector. The sensor's shape is an M18 partially threaded barrel, offering a degree of protection rated at IP67. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BC5-M18-RZ3X-0.2-SB3T features 1 x digital output (20-250Vac / 10-300Vdc; AC/DC 2-wire), a sensing distance of 5mm, an M18 thread size, and operates in a Normally Closed (NC) mode.
