Turck BIM-EG08-AN6X-H1341 is a magnetic field cylinder position sensor/switch belonging to the BIM-EG08 series. This sensor is designed to be embeddable and comes with a 1.4427 (316L) stainless steel housing and a PA12-GF30 (glass fiber reinforced Polyamide) sensing face. It operates on a supply voltage of 10-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The connection is facilitated by a pre-equipped 4-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector. Its shape is an M8 fully threaded barrel (Picoprox), ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP67. The sensor can handle a maximum switching frequency of 1kHz / 1000Hz and is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. It features 1 x digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 150mA max.) and has a no-load current consumption of 15mA. The sensor is protected against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity, with a control circuit rated current of 150mA / 0.15 A. The thread size for installation is M8, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode.
