BC3-M12-AN6X Description

Turck BC3-M12-AN6X is a capacitive proximity sensor belonging to the BC...-M12 series, designed for embeddable applications. It operates with a supply voltage range of 10-30Vdc, including nominal 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and features a chrome-plated brass housing with an ABS sensing face and a PVC cable jacket. This sensor is equipped with a pre-wired 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads, adopting an M12 partially threaded barrel shape. It offers an IP67 degree of protection and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. The BC3-M12-AN6X has a maximum switching frequency of 100Hz and includes one digital output (10-30Vdc; NPN; 200mA max.) with a no-load current consumption of 15mA. Its sensing distance is 3mm, and it features protection against short-circuit (pulsed), overload, and reverse polarity. The control circuit is rated at 200mA / 0.2 A, and it operates in a Normally Open (NO) mode. The thread size for installation is M12.
