PULS CS5.241-S1 is a DIN rail mounting power supply unit with an aluminium housing designed for a wide range of industrial applications. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +70°C and offers various current consumption rates depending on the input voltage: 1.23A at 230Vac, 2A at 120Vac, and 2.33A at 100Vac, with a peak inrush current of 10A across all input voltages. The unit boasts an efficiency of up to 90.2% at 230Vac input. Its dimensions are W32mm x H124mm x D117mm, and it features a start-up delay between 740-900ms and a rise time of 8ms to 25ms depending on the load capacitance. The CS5.241-S1 provides output overvoltage protection, active input inrush current limiting, and overload/short-circuit protection. It supports series or parallel operation for redundancy, ensuring higher system availability, and can handle back-feeding loads up to 35V without malfunctioning. Power dissipation is 13.2W at full output load with 230Vac input. The output stage capacitance is 1800µF, and the electrical durability ranges from 34,000 to 408,000 hours depending on the operating conditions. Ripple is maintained at 50mVpp. This AC/DC power supply unit, part of the C-Line series, is designed with a 20% power reserve and features a DC-OK relay contact output. It utilizes spring-clamp connections for easy installation and is compatible with a supply voltage range of 85Vac-132Vac / 184Vac-264Vac, automatically selecting the appropriate input. The rated current is 6A at 24Vdc in environments up to 45°C and 5A at 24Vdc up to 60°C, with a rated power of 144W at less than 45°C ambient temperature and 120W at less than 60°C. The output voltage is adjustable between 24Vdc and 28Vdc, with minimal turn-on overshoot, and the hold time is 78ms to 80ms depending on the input voltage. This unit is designed for single-phase networks.
