About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7678-F is a gateway belonging to the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It functions as an EtherNet/IP scanner and Modbus RTU slave. This gateway allows for vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. It includes 13 configuration switches, 8 IP configuration switches, and 10 LED indicators for various statuses. The AB7678-F operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Its dimensions are H127mm x W44mm x D114mm, and it is constructed from aluminium and plastic. Connection options include a RJ45 LAN connector for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP in full or half duplex, a 9-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232/RS-485 Modbus RTU, a 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and a USB connector for configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The AB7678-F supports Ethernet/IP, Modbus RTU, and RS-485 communication protocols.
