Anybus by HMS Networks AB7634-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It functions as a PROFIBUS slave and Modbus TCP server, facilitating communication between these two protocols. The device allows for vertical or flat installation and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. Configuration of I/O is managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. It includes 8 IP configuration switches, 2 node address switches for precise addressing, and 10 LED indicators for comprehensive status monitoring. The AB7634-F operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. Its housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability while maintaining a lightweight design. It is designed to function in environments with 5-95% relative humidity, non-condensing, and can store in temperatures ranging from -40 to +85°C. The communication speed is 10/100Mbit/s for Modbus and up to 12Mbit/s for PROFIBUS.
