Anybus by HMS Networks AB7612-B is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator gateway. It supports installation in both vertical and flat positions and features galvanic isolation on both BUS and Ethernet sides. The I/O configuration can be managed via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. This model combines a Modbus RTU slave and J1939 protocols and is equipped with 10 LED indicators for monitoring fieldbus, sub-network, and device status. It operates on a supply voltage range of 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability while maintaining a lightweight design. Connection options include a 15-pin D-sub female connector for power and network connections and a 25-pin D-sub female connector for serial RS-232 configuration. It offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection, suitable for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocol supported is Modbus RTU RS-485, with an operational ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65°C. The current consumption is 400mA at maximum and 200mA typically, with an ambient air temperature range for storage of -40 to +85°C. The speed of operation ranges from 12kbit/s to 57.6kbit/s for Modbus communication.
