Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0282.12001 is a gateway featuring an active USB-to-CAN V2 interface. It operates with a USB 2.0 Hi-Speed PC bus interface and is powered by a 32bit microcontroller. The internal CAN controller supports CAN 2.0 A/B with baud rates ranging from 10kBit/s to 1Mbit/s. It includes a high-speed CAN transceiver (TI SN65HVD251D), a low-speed CAN transceiver (TJA1055T), and a LIN transceiver (TJA1020) that supports LIN protocol versions 1.3 and 2.0 with a maximum LIN baud rate of 20kBaud. The device offers galvanic isolation of 1000Vdc for 1s or 500Vac for 1min and is powered by a 5V, max. 300mA supply via the USB port. Fieldbus connection complies with CiA 303-1 standards. It features a 9-pin D-sub male connector for CAN and a USB 2.0 Hi-speed connector. The gateway operates within a temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated for control voltages from -40 to +85°C. Communication protocols include 10kbit/s to 1Mbit/s for the CAN HS port and 480Mbit/s for the USB interface. The device dimensions are H80mm x W50mm x D22mm, designed for surface mounting and operates in environments with 10-95% relative humidity, non-condensing.
