Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0086.10201 is a gateway designed for communication purposes, featuring DHCP IP address allocation via PC tool. It is powered by a Freescale MCF5235 microcontroller running at 150MHz, supported by 8Mbyte DRAM and 4Mbyte Flash for memory extension. The device incorporates a SJA1000 CAN controller and adheres to the ISO 11898-2 standard for its CAN bus interface. It operates with a supply voltage through a Sub D9 connector that is galvanically decoupled up to 500V. The gateway is encased in a plastic housing suitable for top hat rail mounting and accepts a connection voltage range of 9-32Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It features a rated current with connectivity options including 1 x RJ45 connector for 10/100Mbit/s base-T Ethernet with auto-detect length, 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CAN, and 1 x 4-poles plug-in screw connector for power. The device also includes 4 x LED indicators for operational status, operates within an ambient air temperature range for storage of -20 to +70°C, and offers a degree of protection rated at IP30.
