About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7677-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed to function as a protocol translator between different industrial networks. It supports installation in both vertical and flat orientations and features galvanic isolation on both the BUS and Ethernet sides to enhance network safety. The device allows for I/O configuration via a USB port using the Anybus Configuration Manager software. It is designed as an EtherNet/IP scanner and CANopen slave, equipped with 8 IP configuration switches, 2 node address switches (x10 / x1), and 1 baud rate switch for flexible network integration. The gateway also includes 10 LED indicators for real-time status monitoring of the fieldbus, sub-network, and device. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from a combination of aluminium and plastic, ensuring durability. Connection options include 1 x RJ45 LAN connector for 10/100Mbit/s Ethernet/IP (supporting both full and half duplex), 1 x 9-pin D-sub male connector for CANopen, 1 x 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, and 1 x USB connector for configuration. The AB7677-F offers an IP20 and NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. It supports the CANopen and Ethernet/IP communication protocols, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +65 °C, and consumes a maximum of 400mA current at 24Vdc (200mA typical). The device is suitable for environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing) and has a storage temperature range of -40 to +85 °C. Its Ethernet speed is 10/100Mbit/s, and the CANopen slave operates at speeds ranging from 10kbit/s to 1Mbit/s.
