Ixxat by HMS Networks 1.01.0210.20210 is a CAN/CAN FD repeater designed to facilitate communication within automation systems. It features two duo LEDs for transmitting and indicating defective segments, alongside a power LED. The device utilizes a Microchip MCP2562FD CAN/CAN FD transceiver and includes a 120Ω CAN bus termination resistor, with variants available that integrate this resistor directly. The CAN bus interface complies with ISO 11898-2 standards and includes a CAN choke, offering connections via two screw terminals, with options for integrated CAN termination. It supports both ISO CAN FD and non-ISO CAN FD protocols, with arbitration rates up to 1000kBit/s and data rates up to 8000kbit/s, though actual rates may vary based on operating conditions. The repeater has a typical delay of 175ns, equivalent to a 35m bus length, and features 3kVdc/s or 1500Vac/min galvanic isolation between CAN 1/CAN 2 and the power supply.
