About the product
Banner Engineering SM312FVMHS is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with glass fiber material and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is designed for M18 threaded mount installation. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from -20 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, ensuring durability in various environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm, and offers a quick response time of 0.3ms / 0.0003 s. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
