Banner Engineering SLSR14-900P8 is a safety light curtain designed for protective applications, part of the 14/30 series. This unit, serving as the receiver alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The device offers a protective height of 900mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for various industrial environments. The SLSR14-900P8 has a 14mm beam spacing/pitch and includes two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; sourcing/PNP transistor; 75mA) for auxiliary purposes. It also features one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for EDM and one for RESET. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 6m, and it has a response time of 32ms / 0.032 s. The resolution of 14mm is designed for finger detection.
