Banner Engineering SLSE14-600Q5 is a safety light curtain designed for protective applications, part of the 14/30 series. This unit, functioning as an emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It features a pre-equipped 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The device offers a protective height of 600mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is safeguarded against dust and low-pressure water jets. The SLSE14-600Q5 has a net width of 36mm and a depth of 46mm. It is designed with a 14mm beam spacing/pitch for finger detection, and it provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for remote test input. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 6m, and it emits infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time is noted at 23ms / 0.023 s, ensuring timely activation of safety measures.
