Banner Engineering SLSE30-150P8 is a safety light curtain from the 14/30 series designed for hand detection with a resolution of 30mm. This unit, functioning as an emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The protective height of the device is 150mm, and it comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLSE30-150P8 offers an IP65 degree of protection against dust and water ingress. Its dimensions include a net width of 36mm, a net height of 262mm, and a net depth of 46mm. The light curtain has a 30mm beam spacing/pitch and provides a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 18m. It emits infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and has a response time of 9ms.
