About the product

Banner Engineering SLSE14-600P8 is a safety light curtain designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm, part of the 14/30 series. This unit, serving as the emitter alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It features a pre-wired 300mm pigtail terminated with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The protective height of the device is 600mm, and it has a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLSE14-600P8 offers an IP65 degree of protection, with net dimensions of 36mm in width and 46mm in depth. The light curtain has a 14mm beam spacing/pitch and provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs). It is capable of sensing distances from 10cm up to 6m and emits an infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The response time of the device is 23ms / 0.023 s.
