S18UUAR W/30 Description
Banner Engineering S18UUAR W/30 is an ultrasonic distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the S18U right-angle series. It features a time-of-flight system with TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. The sensor is housed in thermoplastic material and comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C, it offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P. This sensor has an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape, with a sensing distance between 30 and 300mm and operates at a transmission frequency of 300kHz. It includes protection functions against short-circuit and features 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) for connectivity. The thread size of the sensor is M18.
