S18UUAQ Description
Banner Engineering S18UUAQ is an ultrasonic distance sensor/transmitter belonging to the S18U straight series. This sensor operates on a time-of-flight system with TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. It features a thermoplastic housing and is equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. Designed to work within a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc, it ensures compatibility with various power supplies. The S18UUAQ can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6P, making it suitable for challenging environments. Its M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape facilitates easy installation. With a sensing distance of 30 to 300mm and a 300kHz transmission frequency, it is capable of precise measurements. The sensor also includes protection functions against short-circuit incidents and provides 1 x analog output (0-10Vdc) for signal transmission. The thread size for this model is M18.
