S18UIARQPMA Description
Banner Engineering S18UIARQPMA is an ultrasonic sensor belonging to the S18U right-angle series, designed with a time-of-flight system and TEACH mode for precise distance measurement. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath, ensuring durability. It is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for easy installation. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C. It offers a high degree of protection with an IP67 NEMA 6P rating, making it suitable for challenging environments. The M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for straightforward mounting, and it has a sensing distance range of 30 to 300mm. With a 300kHz transmission frequency and equipped with protection functions against short-circuit, this sensor also provides 1 x analog output (4-20mA) for versatile connectivity. The thread size is M18, facilitating standard integration into various setups.
