About the product
Festo PVL500PQ is a fully automatic condensate drain designed for vertical +/-5° in-line installation, featuring an independent electrical controller for efficient operation. It is equipped with a touch-sensitive keypad, a test button, an LED status display, and an alarm output contact for enhanced functionality. The device operates within an ambient air temperature range of +1°C to +60°C and is suitable for compressed air as input medium in accordance with ISO 8573-1/2010 standards. The PVL500PQ offers a Pg9 cable gland and screw-clamp terminals for electrical connections, alongside a G1/2" threaded port and a P.K. 8 barbed connection for pneumatic and condensate drain connections, respectively. Part of the PWEA series, it boasts an IP65 degree of protection and is classified under Corrosion Resistance Class CRC 2, indicating moderate corrosion stress resistance. The condensate drain operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and is constructed from a polymer housing, wrought aluminium alloy for the condensate reservoir, and NBR/FPM/PU seals, ensuring compatibility with a range of environments. It supports an operating pressure range of +0.8 to +16 bar and can be stored in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10°C to +60°C.
