About the product
Banner Engineering PVL500N is a photo-electric array sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features a pre-wired 2m pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +50°C and is housed in black anodized aluminum with a PVC connector, ensuring durability. With dimensions specifying a 500mm array length, it offers a sensing distance of 1.5m (1500mm) and a 70mm beam spacing/pitch. The PVL500N operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc as the nominal voltage. It is designed in a rectangular shape, providing an IP50 degree of protection against dust. The sensor emits light in green and red with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm, respectively, and features a single digital output (NPN transistor) in a Normally Open (NO) operating mode.
