Banner Engineering PIF16U is a fiber optic sensor designed for through-beam system applications, featuring an opposed mode pair of individual fibers for in-line sensing. This sensor falls under the Plastic fiber series, with a cylindrical (smooth) end tip design. It has a diameter of 5mm at the end and a 1mm fiber core. The PIF16U is constructed with an FEP sensing end and a plastic fiber FEP fiber sheath, ensuring durability and compatibility with various applications. It has a length of 6ft (2m) and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
