Banner Engineering PIAT46UHF is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks. It operates within an ambient air temperature of up to +70°C and features a through-beam system, also known as an opposed mode flex strain relief pair of individual fibers, with side/right-angled sensing. The sensor has a 1mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber (Vantage Line) series. Its cylindrical (threaded) end tip is made from stainless steel, while the fiber itself is plastic, and the sheath is constructed from Polyethylene (PE), ensuring durability and flexibility. The total length of the sensor is 6ft / 2m, accommodating various installation requirements.
