Banner Engineering PIAT415U is a fiber optic sensor designed for use in applications requiring precise detection through a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It features a 1mm fiber core diameter and falls under the Plastic fiber series. The sensor has a cylindrical (threaded) end tip, with the sensing end made of stainless steel and the fiber sheathed in polyethylene (PE), ensuring durability and compatibility with various environments. It is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C and has a length of 20ft (6m), providing flexibility for installation in different settings.
