About the product
Banner Engineering PIAT420U is a fiber optic sensor designed for precise detection tasks, featuring a through-beam system with an opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side in a right-angled sensing configuration. It has a 1mm fiber core diameter and falls under the Plastic fiber series. The sensor is equipped with a cylindrical (threaded) end tip, constructed from stainless steel for the sensing end and complemented by a plastic fiber with a polyethylene (PE) fiber sheath. It offers an operational ambient air temperature up to +70°C and has a total length of 30ft (9m), ensuring versatile installation options for various applications.
