About the product

Banner Engineering PIAT26U is a fiber optic sensor designed for use in applications requiring precise detection through a through-beam system or opposed mode pair of individual fibers positioned side by side with right-angled sensing. It features a 1mm fiber core diameter and is part of the Plastic fiber series. The sensor has a cylindrical (threaded) end tip, constructed with a stainless steel sensing end and a plastic fiber encased in a Steelskin fiber sheath for enhanced durability. It has a total length of 10ft (3 meters) and is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures up to +70°C.
