Banner Engineering M18SP6FF50QPMA is a fixed-field photo-electric sensor within the M18 series, featuring a background suppression system and utilizing infrared (IR) light. This sensor is encased in a stainless steel housing with an acrylic lens and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It is designed in an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and comes pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The sensor is chemical-resistant and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). It can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K NEMA 6P. The operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON, with a thread size of M18 and a sensing distance of 50mm. It features 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) and has a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
