Panasonic PM-K45-C3 is a compact U-shaped (fork type) photoelectric sensor designed for precise object detection with a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is equipped with a pre-wired 3m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable that terminates with bare flying leads. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. This model includes two digital outputs (PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA), supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON operations, with a rapid response time of 80µs. An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator, and the sensor has a current consumption of 15mA. It is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
