M18SN6D Description
Banner Engineering M18SN6D is a photo-electric sensor from the M18 series designed for diffuse mode operation with infrared (IR) light. This sensor features an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape with a stainless steel housing and an acrylic lens. It is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The M18SN6D operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP69K and NEMA 6P. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes, has an M18 thread size, and provides a sensing distance of 100mm. It features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; complementary NO/NC) and boasts a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s.
