About the product
Banner Engineering M12PR, part of the M12 series, is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm and is housed in nickel-plated brass with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It has an M12 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. The M12PR operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It offers a sensing distance of up to 5m and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) with a response time of 0.625ms / 0.000625 s. This sensor can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +60 °C and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, IP68, NEMA 5, and NEMA 6. Its operating modes include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
