RI-96HA3T-4A2500-H1181 Description
Turck RI-96HA3T-4A2500-H1181 is an incremental rotary encoder designed for precise motion control applications. It features a through hollow shaft flange with torque stop mounting and optical sensing for accurate position feedback. This encoder operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +85°C and is equipped with a pre-equipped radial 8-pin M12 Eurofast QD male connector for easy integration. The RI-96 series encoder has dimensions of H80mm x W68mm x D50mm with a 2" casing diameter and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, making it suitable for harsh environments. It requires a 5Vdc supply voltage and supports a 300kHz pulse frequency. Constructed with rugged stainless steel housing, 303 stainless steel shaft, flange, and connector, along with a fluoropolymer elastomer seal, it ensures durability. The encoder utilizes an RS-422 communication protocol and features a 1/2" hollow shaft bore. It provides a single digital output (RS422 output with inverting signal; 5Vdc), includes short-circuit and magnetic field proof protection functions, and can handle a rotational speed up to 6000rpm. The moment of inertia is 1.8 x 10-6kg.m2, with a resolution of 2500ppr (pulses/revolution). Its current consumption is 40mA with no load, and it can withstand a maximum radial load of 80 N and a maximum axial load of 40 N.
