FCS-M18-AP8X-2-RS4T/CS12942 Turck Flow Sensors

Turck FCS-M18-AP8X-2-RS4T/CS12942 is a sensor designed for flow monitoring, belonging to the FCS series. It features a nickel-plated brass housing and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. This sensor has a current consumption of 70mA (0.07A) and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65. It is equipped with one digital output (20-30Vdc; PNP) and has a partially threaded barrel shape of M18. The sensor provides protection functions against short-circuit (pulsed) and reverse polarity. It is capable of detecting flow rates from 50cm/s to 15m/s in air. This model serves as an instrumentation insertion probe air flow monitor sensor/switch. It comes pre-wired with a 2m (6.5ft) pigtail cable terminated with a 3-pin M12 Eurofast QD connector and an M18 threaded male process port. The sensor can withstand pressure up to 10bar (145psi) and requires a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.). It is designed to monitor medium temperatures ranging from -10°C to +70°C.
