SF4D-H72-01 Panasonic Safety Light Curtains

Panasonic SF4D-H72-01 is a compact and robust hand-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety applications. It features a main function as a sensor array with an interference prevention function, external device monitoring function compatible with 8-core / 12-core cable, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, and an override function available with a 12-core cable. The housing is made of aluminium, while the sensing surface is constructed from polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, with nylon used for the upper and lower cap. This sensor comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The net height, indicating the protective height, is 1430 mm. For outputs, it includes 2 x digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2 and 1 x digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 9m in long mode, and from 80cm to 15m, translating to 0.656-29.528ft and 2.625-49.213ft in long mode, respectively. Current consumption is rated at 120mA / 0.12 A for the emitter and 150mA / 0.15 A for the receiver. The light color is infrared (IR) with a wavelength of 850 nm, and it can detect objects as small as 25mm or 0.984 inches.
