SF4D-F111 Panasonic Safety Light Curtains

Panasonic SF4D-F111 is a compact and robust finger-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of protective and monitoring functions. It features an interference prevention function, external device monitoring capability compatible with 8-core or 12-core cables, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, an override function available with a 12-core cable, and a fixed blanking function. The sensor is housed in aluminum, with a sensing surface made of polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, and nylon upper and lower caps. It comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. The SF4D-F111 operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. It has a protective height of 1110 mm and includes two digital outputs (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2, and one digital output (selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 7m in standard mode and 80cm to 12m in long mode, with a current consumption of 120mA / 0.12 A for the emitter. The light curtain emits infrared light at a wavelength of 850 nm and can detect objects as small as 14mm in diameter.
