Panasonic SF4D-H24-01 Panasonic SF4D-H24-01 is a compact and robust hand-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring PL e / SIL3 safety levels. It features an interference prevention function, external device monitoring capability compatible with 8-core / 12-core cables, an interlock function with manual or auto reset options, and an override function available with a 12-core cable. The housing is made of aluminium, while the sensing surface is constructed from polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, with nylon used for the upper and lower caps. This sensor comes pre-equipped with a connector for ease of installation. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. The protective height of the sensor is 470 mm. It provides 2 x digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2 and 1 x digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 9m in long mode, equivalent to 0.656 to 29.528 feet, and from 80cm to 15m, or 2.625 to 49.213 feet in long mode. The current consumption is 100mA / 0.1 A for the emitter and 130mA / 0.13 A for the receiver. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and can detect objects as small as 25mm or 0.984 inches.
