SF4D-A10 Panasonic Safety Light Curtains

Panasonic SF4D-A10 is a compact and robust arm/foot-protection intrinsically safe safety light curtain sensor designed for a variety of safety applications. It features an interference prevention function, external device monitoring capability using an 8-core or 12-core cable, and an interlock function with both manual and auto reset options. Additionally, it offers an override function (with 12-core cable) and a fixed blanking function. The housing is made of aluminum, while the sensing surface is constructed from polycarbonate resin and stainless steel SUS304, with nylon used for the upper and lower caps. This sensor is pre-equipped with a connector for easy installation and operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +55°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, ensuring durability in harsh environments. The protective height is 390 mm, and it includes 2 x digital outputs (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 60-200mA) for safety outputs OSSD1+OSSD2, and 1 x digital output (Selectable NPN/PNP open-collector / 24Vdc / 100mA). The sensing distance ranges from 20cm to 9m in long mode, and from 80cm to 15m, translating to 0.656 to 29.528 feet and 2.625 to 49.213 feet in long mode, respectively. The current consumption for the emitter is 100mA / 0.1 A. It utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm and can detect objects as small as 45mm or 1.772 inches.
