PM-Y65-P Panasonic Retroreflective Sensors

Panasonic PM-Y65-P is a compact U-shaped (fork, Y-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin connector for connectivity. This sensor, with IP40 degree of protection, has a PBT housing and is shaped in a U-shaped fork design. It offers a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-Y65-P features two digital outputs: one NPN open-collector for Light-ON and one for Dark-ON, both supporting 24Vdc at 50mA. It boasts a rapid response time of 80µs (0.00008 s) and includes an orange LED for visual operation indication. The current consumption is rated at 15mA (0.015 A), and it can detect objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
