Panasonic PM-Y45-P is a compact U-Shaped (fork, Y-Type) photoelectric sensor designed for a 6mm passageway. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -25 to +55°C and is pre-wired with a 1m 4-core 0.09mm2 cabtyre PVC cable that terminates with bare flying leads. This sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP64 and is constructed with a PBT housing. It features a sensing distance of 6mm and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 855 nm for detection. The PM-Y45-P is equipped with two digital outputs (NPN open-collector / 24Vdc / 50mA), supporting both Light-ON and Dark-ON functions, and has a rapid response time of 80µs (0.00008 s). An orange LED serves as a visual position indicator, and the sensor has a current consumption of 15mA (0.015 A). It is capable of detecting objects as small as 0.8x1.2mm.
